Silicon Carbide Balls (SiC)
Silicon carbide ceramic possesses ultra-high hardness, exceptional wear resistance, great toughness, high temperature resistance, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, and excellent impact resistance. It maintains long-term stable performance without cracking under high-speed operation and harsh working conditions, ideal for high-precision and high-load industrial applications. Material parameters: Vickers Hardness: 2000-2500 Hv; Fracture Toughness: 400-500 MPa.
GELINDE Optical’s silicon carbide ceramic balls are widely applied in multiple fields relying on their high strength, outstanding wear resistance and stable high-speed operation performance. Typical applications cover bearings, valves, ball milling processing, aerospace, mechanical industry, coatings and textiles.
