Monocrystalline silicon ball lenses

Monocrystalline silicon ball lenses is made of monocrystalline silicon material, high hardness, insoluble in water, with good optical properties and easy processing; in the 1-7 μm band and far-infrared band 30-300 μm, monocrystalline silicon has excellent light transmission; high temperature resistance, suitable for some high temperature environment in the application, such as laser processing.
Monocrystalline Silicon is a widely used material in photodetectors, especially in the visible and near-infrared spectral range. These detectors are used in cameras, laser ranging, fiber optic communications and other devices. Monocrystalline silicon is also the main material used in the manufacture of high-efficiency solar cells, which can effectively absorb sunlight and convert it into electricity. Its optical properties allow it to exhibit excellent power conversion efficiency under light conditions. GELINDE Optical offers processing services for customer-supplied materials.
